Jack Rogers and Courtney Beck of Novozymes look on as Dave Kramer of Sterling Ethanol signs a check for his winning bid.

Congratulations to Growth Energy for raising over $320,000 in a live auction and over $12,000 in a silent auction at their 6th Annual Executive Leadership Conference, an exclusive event for Growth Energy members. The money raised will go to the Growth Energy Cares fund.

The auctions – their highest revenue-generating ones to date – were held during the Conference which took place in Phoenix, Arizona from February 25 to March 1. The proceeds of the auctions will go towards one-time donations to various charities, service and educational groups in the United States, giving these groups greater opportunities to expand their outreach in serving their neighbors and communities.. Managed by a distinguished board of North American ethanol producers and industry partners, the Growth Energy Cares fund will soon begin communicating the donation application process.

A big thank you and shout-out goes to Dave Kramer of Sterling Ethanol for the single highest winning bid at the auction – for a truckload of a Biofuels enzyme of his choice donated by Novozymes. This charitable contribution by Sterling Ethanol provided a huge jump-start to the fund.

This auction is just one way that Novozymes partners with our customers and the industry to deliver on our promise to Rethink Tomorrow.
